Parking Blocks are used in parking lots to protect signage, utility poles, shopping carts, garbage bins, sidewalks, and other parked vehicles.
Parking Blocks are used in parking lots to protect signage, utility poles, shopping carts, garbage bins, sidewalks and other parked vehicles. Parking Blocks are also known as parking curbs, wheel stops, curb stops, or bumper blocks.
Two Wheel Parking Blocks
The standard parking blocks are 6’ long, have a height of 5.5”, and are designed to stop both tires. The low profile allows clearance for vehicle bumpers. The parking blocks are reinforced with two half inch pieces of rebar that stretch the entire span of the block. Holes are pre-formed to allow half inch rebar “pins” to be driven through the block and into the ground which insures that the parking block stays in place.
Parking blocks are available pre stacked with 12 on a pallet. However, any number may be purchased at a time.
Parking blocks can be delivered or picked up at M-1 Tanks. If parking blocks are being picked up, it is asked that a trailer is used. A pickup truck cannot be loaded with more than 4 at a time.
Single Wheel Parking Blocks
M-1 Tanks also offers 30” Parking Blocks, this is a newer look that saves time and money! Single wheel parking blocks are lighter which makes installation easier. They are designed to stop one wheel, only one block is required per parking space. Single wheel parking blocks are low profile (5” tall), this allows clearance for vehicle bumpers.
Single wheel parking blocks come pre-stacked with 14 on a pallet, but any number may be purchased at a time. Delivery and yard pickup options are available.
